Free Poker HUD

Online poker is absolutely taking the Internet by storm. The past 20 or so odd years have been nothing short of amazing how popular and wide-spread the game has become. It used to be a game played in smoky, filthy basements and now it’s virtually everywhere. Put the TV on on there will be a game on ESPN or on another channel. World Series Of Poker is one of the most watched event on television! Ratings have been steadily climbing through the years. Guys young and old are mesmerized by the game and especially the promise of winning some money.

But let’s get real – playing poker is NOT easy! You need skills and plenty of them to be successful. Luck is also a thing one need  but let’s put that aside for a moment. Since one cannot just learn how to play better in a short period of time, smart folks have come up with these online tracking softwares called poker HUDs. A poker HUD is basically a way to legally “cheat” your way to the top, to make more money and win more hands. These trackers are with questionable legality on different sites and apps. You need to make sure the site you play is allowing them. Using one without it being allowed will result is dare consequences.

Most of the HUDs on the market come with a hefty monthly fees, or big upfront fee. Copilot, Drive HUD, HM 3 and Hand2note are some of the names you might have heard of. Of these only Hand2Note is , at least partially, free to use. It is not exactly a free poker HUD but it’s plans for PokerStars and 888poker and Americas cardroom are free for all stakes. Hand2Note was voted the best poker HUD by LaWeekly for 2022 and we have to agree with that assessment, at least with the part that is a great free HUD. Now of course if you are intending to play poker a little more seriously you should be going for a paid HUD. The fee will pay for itself most likely in a short time. I like the one-time fee option for HM3 – very easy to use and ready to “work” right when you install it. It doesn’t require extensive setup, something Hand2Note does and can be confusing for not-very-computer-savvy users.

Now there is a little trick you can use to get HM 3 for free. But it’s not exactly free, you will need to make a sizable deposit to one of their partner websites – 888poker or RunItOnce.

Why Use a Poker HUD

It’s simple – most of the other players are using one! If you don’t – you are at a huge disadvantage and will not win much. That’s it. The harsh reality of online poker is this, like it or not. Free or paid, just get a fricking HUD:)

Imagine the following scenario; Just 201 players remain in a large online poker tournament from the initial 2000 entrants. After 3 hours of playing solid poker there is just one more person to bust out before the paying places. You are dealt aces and go on to win a pot, knocking out your opponent in the process. the bubble has burst and the remaining players are now into the money!

One guy who’s got the skill factor in spades is Kim Birch (pronounced “Burk”). A Dane who is sometimes known as the “Danish Dragon,” he has been winning big pots in online poker for some years now. He’s the creator of the Online Poker Advantage course. If you want to make great money online — or even go full time — you’d be a fool to disregard his work because there are some very definite online poker secrets. Birch not only knows them well — but shares them!

When we talk about the varieties, there are two types of HUDs. One uses the database constructed by you. It can include the hand histories and data mining. You can use it as an exclusive HUD or poker tracking software. Another variety of HUD comes with an inbuilt database. It consists of information gathered from many poker hud players. All the information is consolidated and is fed into the device.

Another place you see more aggression online is the re-raise pre-flop, also called a 3-bet. In a low-limit live game, most players only 3-bet with their ultra-premium hands. Online, sure, people will 3-bet with Aces, but they will also throw in the occasional 3-bet bluff. You’ve got to be ready for this and have a game plan in mind when you face the inevitable pre-flop aggression.

Loose and passive online poker players like to get into many pots and call small bets all the time, so if you must bluff them, make bigger bets. Once you have a real hand, make small bets and they will most likely call you all the way to the river and once again, you WIN!

The histories are used in many poker programs. Poker HUDs use it to gather information, poker tracking programs use it and even some table selection programs use it. As you can see it is used by many programs.

You will find that online poker is a fun and enjoyable way to spend an evening. But even more than that, it can become a passion that actually puts money in your pocket if you are playing with a real strategy. As always, don’t bet the rent money in online poker. Only play what you can afford to lose, always!
